OzEmu opens the doors of Saramonic and Z Cam to Australia
OzEmu, one of Australia’s newest distributors of leading video and camera equipment, announced the launch of Saramonic and Z Cam in Australia and New Zealand. Both well-known brands feature industry-leading, cutting-edge audio and camera products for professionals and other consumers.
With a solid reputation of being an industry leader, Saramonic is known to specialise in high quality audio gear with innovative design and cost effective pricing making it accessible for both professionals and consumers. While Z Cam has had a strong foothold and reputation in the cinematic camera market, it has gained significant momentum in recent times owing to its first-of-its kind compact design, modularity and cost effectiveness that opened the product up to wider markets such as video bloggers, film students and others.
The new distribution agreement will see OzEmu make both of these brands more accessible to consumers via extended retail and online channels that include Camera House, DigiDirect, Digital Camera Warehouse, Leederville Cameras, Rubber Monkey, Kogan and a range of other outlets. OzEmu will also offer end-to-end service and support for Saramonic and Z Cam in Australia.

Saramonic’s wide range of professional sound equipment include audio adapters, wireless microphones, audio mixes, smartphone audio and lavalier microphone and accessories.
To increase the audio quality for smartphone video, Saramonic also creates many devices such as SmartMixer, SmartMic, SmartRig and the audio gears for iOS lightning and Android Type C. The audio adapters allow users to connect professional audio recording equipment and microphones to their DSLR cameras and camcorders to create more beautiful and smooth sounds.
When it comes to high-imaging cameras, Z Cam boasts of many achievements – some of which include launching the Z CAM E1, the world’s smallest 4K, MFT interchangeable lens mount camera. Z CAM has since then also gone on to develop its first professional Virtual Reality (VR) camera, the ZCAM S1, which was followed by other professional VR cameras, resulting in Z CAM becoming a global leader in the professional VR camera market.
The Z CAM E2 was introduced as a low cost, 4K 160fps and 10 bit color cinema camera and established a stronghold position in the cinema camera market. Alongside was the Z CAM E2C, the most affordable cinema camera launched in 2019.
