Bundled with cables for use with cameras and mobile devices in run-and-gun shoots, vlogging, and mobile journalism, the Synco Mic-M3 camera-mount shotgun microphone delivers sharper directionality and more sonic flexibility than the Synco Mic-M1, plus the ability to monitor your signal in real time.Two AAA batteries (available separately) grant up to 50 hours of run time without monitoring or up to 10 hours of use with monitoring. Two detachable 3.5mm cables are included?one TRS cable for use with cameras and one TRRS cable for connection to a smartphone or tablet. A dedicated 3.5mm headphone output lets you listen to your mic signal while the mic’s main output remains connected to your camera or mobile device.Activate the 100 Hz high-pass filter to reduce rumble and bass buildup, and use the 3-position gain control to optimize the signal level before it reaches your recorder. The supplied shockmount, which easily attaches to the shoe mount of your camera or the 1/4″-20 thread of a tripod, mitigates the transfer of vibration and camera handling noise.
